Garth Phoebus
SONGWRITER | PRODUCER
Garth Phoebus is the Founder and CEO of 73 Collective, a multidisciplinary creative house built on the belief that discipline and creativity are not opposites--but partners.
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Garth's formative years were shaped by service, leadership under pressure, and exposure to complex human environments that demanded clarity, adaptability, and accountability. Those experiences continue to influence his approach to creativity, leadership, and storytelling: deliberate, honest, and rooted in lived experience rather than trends.
Following his military service, Garth spent decades in public service and emergency management, working at the intersection of risk, preparedness, leadership, and consequence. His professional career has included senior-level responsibilities in high-stakes environments where planning, trust, and execution mattered more than optics. This background informs the operational backbone of 73 Collective--structure without rigidity, freedom without chaos.
Creatively, garth is a lifelong writer, lyricist, and storyteller. His work spans music, poetry, essays, long-form writing, and concept development across multiple genres and personas housed within the 73 Collective ecosystem. Whether through songwriting, narrative projects, photography, or reflective writing, his work explores identity, resilience, moral complexity, and the quiet moments that define who we become when no one is watching.
73 Collective was founded not as a label, but as a portfolio of intent--a place where different voices, genres, and creative expressions can coexist without being forced into a single lane. It reflects Garth's belief that authenticity outlasts algorithms, that creativity should evolve without apology, and that technology--when used ethically--can expand human expression rather than replace it.
As CEO, Garth leads with a calm, principle-driven philosophy: create honestly, build sustainably, and leave room for growth without losing the core. He is less interested in chasing noise than in building work that holds up over time.
73 Collective is not a destination--it's a body of work in motion. And Garth remains, first and always, a student of the craft.
